Summer Dress

Image
Well, it wasn't a dress initially, but after adding a rim of crochet Japanese flowers, this singlet is long enough to call it a dress. A dress for me. For my upcoming trip to Menorca in a couple of weeks.   www.betweennapsontheporch.net ~*~ My Flower Rug was featured by Creative Jewish Mom!   Thanks, Sara!

Star Mobile

Image
A couple of weeks ago one of my colleagues has delivered a little girl, so I made this star mobile from felt. My daughter loved it so much, though, that I gave it to her and made the espadrilles I showed earlier for my colleague.  www.betweennapsontheporch.net

Jeans Short with Lace

Image
One of my oldest daughter's jeans fits very well, but is becoming a little too short, so to wear it a bit more out, I cut of the pant's legs and crocheted some lace along the edge. www.betweennapsontheporch.net   ~*~  My Baby Espadrilles were featured by Homework and City of Creative Dreams ! Thank you,  Carolyn and Shanice!

Plumeria Hair Band

Image
A while ago I saw this great crochet pattern for plumeria. Since my visit to some of the Hawaiian Islands a couple of years ago, I have a soft spot for plumeria, so I really wanted to make them. But, I didn't exactly know what to do with them. It was my daughter who came up with the idea to make a hair band and here it is: www.betweennapsontheporch.net   I got this great plumeria pattern here !

Earrings & Bracelets

Image
Last week we had King's Day in The Netherlands, this week we have Liberation Day. Liberation Day is always at the 5th of May, which happens to be Ascension Day, too, this year. Like King's Day most people have a day off and there are festivals to celebrate freedom and garage sales in the whole country. Last week my daughters made earrings. They sold a lot, despite the cold weather, which made them enthousiastic of course, and they wanted to sell again this week. We've been busy again, making earrings the whole weekend. My oldest has made some bracelets, too. Let's hope the weather will be a little bit more spring-like this time.   www.betweennapsontheporch.net
